After a successful 1st edition that took place back in June 2019 and saw Roland Garcia from the Philippines coming out on top to claim the title, the Joy Chinese 8 Ball Masters is back in Thailand.
The event will take place from October 31st 2019 onwards at Show DC Mall in Bangkok and is set to last 4 days. With a field of over 100 players representing 19 countries including Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Finland, USA, England, India, Indonesia and many more, it is the first event of this scale ever organized in Thailand. Bhupinder Monga from Thailand Pool Tables team is thrilled with the positive outcome : "I didn't expect to have so many players from overseas, it is really exciting and a great sign that the discipline is growing in popularity worldwide, it's great for the sport and great for Thailand".
With a total prize money of over 240,000THB (about 8,000USD) along with a sponsored flight ticket and accommodation to play the main final event in China, it certainly caught the attention of many players, some of whom recently participated in a Joy Event.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to start at 7pm on October 31st 2019 and will feature dance performances along with players introduction and the official draw for the group stage.
