This Vinyl Console from Sound Leisure is a sleek and sophisticated styling product, offering 20 LP 12" record capacity with a fully automated turntable platform.
Drawing on 40 years cabinet making experience gained through the design and manufacture of our world renowned range of classic jukeboxes, the Vinyl LP Console Music System is produced from seven layers of hand formed birch ply, which are shaped, veneered and hand polished in our cabinet shop by Sound Leisure skilled craftsmen and women. In the same vein, the technology employed within the cabinet is a result of Sound Leisure’s continuous product development and evolution over a period of 4 decades, resulting in the S3 Unity technology platform, the most effective and efficient auto-changer solution ever produced.
The Vinyl LP Console Music System does not offer just its contemporary styling, it’s also offering state of the art technology and its iconic sound. At the heart of the cabinet sits our patented VLP-20 vinyl auto-changer mechanism with “AutoFlip” technology, partnered here with our proprietary D3 Amplifier and a custom designed, 6 way tuned speaker system, featuring 4 x (ported) Bass/mid-range speakers and 2 x integrated cabinet tweeters.
To ensure the cabinet fits perfectly with your environment, the console cabinet and speaker grille cloths can specified in a range of standard colours or can be made to your exact specification by our ‘Custom Shop’ service. The magnetic speaker grille cloths are removable and inter-changeable and produced using a high quality, locally sourced, 100% woollen twill.
The Vinyl LP Console is capable of playing a mixture of both LP’s (33 rpm) and 12” singles (45 rpm) Selections are made via a touch sensitive panel located on the front edge of the cabinet, simply touch a record number then choose playback of the A side, B side or A & B sides. Volume, reject, shuffle modes and cabinet access are also controlled via the touch sensitive panel.
As the final notes of side A fade away, the tone arm raises and retracts, allowing the lift arm to collect the record so it can be either safely placed in the storage rack, or and flipped and presented to the turntable for playback of the B side. You can make multiple selections, mixing entire albums and with individual A or B sides, to profile hours of music, then simply sit back and enjoy the experience.
The ‘Direct Play’ option makes it quick and easy to also play records which have not been loaded into the storage rack. Simply press the touch sensitive control pad to lift the glass lid, place your record on the turntable, choose the playback speed then select playback of the A, B or A & B sides to utilize the ‘AutoFlip’ feature.
